This old horse fell through the ice on the pond at the foot of Kevock steps on New Year's Day. It took over two hours with the considerable efforts of two appliances of fire men and women to get her out and on her feet. Apart from suffering the effects of severe cold she appeared unharmed and was back in the field a few days later. |
